Eco-Friendly Holidays

90-minute workshop: Maximum of 30 participants, minimum age 13 years

The workshop educates the participants about the environmental impacts of tourism and promotes sustainable travel practices. It begins with an interactive warm-up activity, encouraging participants to share their ideal holiday preferences.

Afterwards, participants engage in a practical game where they explore the effects of transportation, water usage and nutrition during holidays. This activity fosters awareness about how the mode of transport, the food we eat and the accommodation we use, affect carbon emissions, land usage and water consumption. The workshop introduces the concept of eco-friendliness, distinguishing it from sustainability, and emphasizes the importance of minimizing the environmental footprint of tourism.

Finally, participants are encouraged to reflect on their learning, provide feedback, and consider applying eco-friendly practices in their future travels.

This workshop is still in the testing phase. The free material for this workshop will be available soon. Stay tuned—we will inform you as soon as it becomes available.
